Practice Week! Preparing for the Championship Event

August 31, 2019

Practicing the Whole Process (but with a Different Dataset)

We want you to have plenty of time to get familiar with all the tools and methods you will use during the live championship event, so we will let you emulate the exact process in your free time from September 2-8 using a practice dataset and scorecard.

This practice dataset is derived from the GYN dataset we used for the 2019 World Championship event. The scorecard is nearly identical to what we used for last year’s event, too. There will only be two simple structures missing from the provided structure set, just enough to experience the whole process without making it too complicated.

Receiving Your Access Code

A unique access code/password will be emailed to each registrant on September 2, 2019, at which point you can start practicing. Until then, please watch the following training video and refer to the table of useful time points in the training video, both of which are below.

Important: Access codes will be sent to each registrant on September 2, 2019, at 6 AM EDT. Please allow at least 10 minutes for these messages to reach your inbox. If you still have not received an email after that period, contact support here.

Training Video

The video below takes you on a full walkthrough of how you will participate during practice week from September 2-8 as well as during the live championship event starting on September 9, 2019 at 06:00 a.m. EDT (UTC -4).

We have also added a table of useful time points of the video in case you come back to reference it multiple times.
